ANALYZING BEE COLONIES – PRECISE MEASUREMENTS FOR BEE RESEARCH
When conducting research on honeybees, institutes rely on precise measuring instruments that provide consistent data quality. Our Wolf hive scale delivers exactly these two qualities. The Wolf scale is ideally suited for various research projects, as both the hardware (the hive scale itself) and the online software provide detailed insights and measurement results regarding the bee colony. We offer an API key as standard and can customize the system to fit your research project. Numerous institutes and organizations across Europe are already using our system.

Our team of developers is here to assist you with implementation, data analysis, and support. Ask us for references!

Practical Bee Research
Thanks to our high-quality hive scale, research institutes can rely on precise measurement data and analyze it digitally as needed. For even more measurement results, shared data from other beekeepers in a wide variety of regions and at different altitudes can also be viewed and processed.

Recording and Transmission of Measurements
At measurement intervals of 5 minutes or 1 hour (configurable via the online software), data from the Wolf beehive scale is transmitted to the online software via the cellular network (Wolf SIM card required). Live data can be made available online to research colleagues, enabling collaborative work.

Measure, Analyze, and Compare
Even the smallest changes can be observed and analyzed. Comparisons between locations, nectar flow monitoring, weight differences, and brood chamber temperature are just a few examples of the analysis and comparison options available. Read below to learn about the other features the online software offers (you’ll also find a demo link at the bottom of the page). Our export interface and API key are available for specialized analyses.
